The Ads Worked Because They Were ((( TRUE ! )))

Everyone is making a big fuss over the fact that Republican 911 Failure, Rudy Giuliani has hired the same company that put out those Racist Pro-Corker Ads in 2006 which played just as significant a role as George Allen's Macaca Moment did in defeating Harold Fords race for the Senate. The Jim Crow Fear Baiting implication is that Barack Obama will be targeted the same way Harold Ford Jr. (DLC) was , because he is African American. Well, I am not concerned or convinced because the only reason why those ads were effective , were because they were true. The Racist overtone was just the frosting on the cupcake which blocked any leniency towards Harold Ford for his outed "indiscretions"

During the 2006 election cycle when this ad was being discussed in the National Media , I was confused about Harold Fords assertions that he did not think the ad was Racist. I recall swearing at him ( the T.V. ) saying, " You're an idiot. Everyone in the nation knows it was Racist except your ditsy butt!". Well, I mumbled something to that effect. Then , it hit me after more was revealed later on in the campaigning. The attack ad wasn't effective because it was racist alone. The ad was effective because it was true. Harold Ford wasn't the sweet innocent and handsome" Church Man Type " even though that's what he was portraying himself as in his own ads, but rather, he was a Womanizer. He did take money from Special Interests ( PORN INDUSTRY) that contradicted his Southern Christian Values. He did conduct himself in a way unbecoming a Southern Christian. (Intentional Emphasis on SOUTHERN Christian) If he were a California politician running off his Christian Creds, he would have had no problem whatsoever. But this is Tennessee.

See, Harold Ford portrayed himself as a righteous man. In the South , they actually take that stuff seriously. You can't just play around with it. Most, not all, but enough to warrant a (Most), Southerners don't tend to leave room for deviance, or in Harold's case " Sexual Deviance" . That one is HUGE for Southern Christian Conservatives in both parties. They don't like all that nastiness. Just ask Floridians about Mark Foley. If you publicly advertise yourself as a Christian in the SOUTH , you better act like one. Harold Ford knew that and that's why he kept saying it wasn't Racist. He knew he was being a hypocrite so rather than fight it, he just said it wasn't racist to shut everyone up because if he would have jumped on the Sharpton Soul Train, the real intention of the ads would be revealed. He was faking it. But, hey. Look on the bright side. Harold Ford is now right where he belongs. He is the Chairman of the only wing of the Democratic Party that specializes in Conservatives who act like Sexual Deviant Republicans. The DLC. It's a match made in Washington.

This is why I am not concerned about Giuliani taking in that company. I am not worried about Barack Obama being attacked like Harold Ford was because Barack Obama is real. He really is a Christian even by the strict Southern standards. He's not into White Chicks. Ask Obama Girl. He loves his Family and will defend his wife to the death against anyone who would try to harm her in any way shape or form. He's a real man. They can't attack him on his values because out of all the candidates running on both sides, Barack Obama has the purest values both Secular and Christian and that's indisputable. They can't attack him Racially because whoever does will be accused of Macacaism. ( Thanks For The Hook Up George Allen ). So, they will only be able to attack him on the same issues that the current Washington Establishment Democrats are attacking him on and he's winning that battle already.
